This for me, is the best way to let go of stuff and clear my mind. The moment I start feeling overwhelmed, there’s a burden that comes with it and immediately without even thinking twice about it, I go to God and talk things out with Him.

I talk to Him like he’s sat close to me. The previous point says to talk to a friend about your struggles. That friend can be the Holy Spirit, He listens without judgement and He speaks, plus He’s the best person to take your problems to.

Try talking to God and see that He helps. He might not necessarily speak loud into your ears, but he provides a peace that passes all understanding and He directs the path of the righteous. You might not see Him as He leads, but be assured that He goes ahead of His children to make all crooked path straight.

Point is, you can also talk to God, pour out your heart to Him, to clear your mind up and trust Him to take charge. Each time I do this, I end up feeling very light.

You can’t pour from an empty cup.
Taking a day or two off to rest and reflect helps you reset mentally.
